Subject: Important Notice: Multi-Flex Plating Company Closure – October 31, 2025

Dear Valued Customers,

It is with mixed emotions that we write to inform you that Multi-Flex Plating Company will be closing its doors on October 31, 2025. After 57 years of proudly serving the aerospace and defense industries since our founding on January 6, 1968, economic factors have led to the difficult decision to sell the business. The acquiring company has purchased our assets with plans to relocate the equipment to their facility for internal operations.

Important Dates and Information

Quote Requests: We will not be providing quotes for new work after September 19, 2025.

Final Orders: No new orders will be accepted after October 10, 2025, unless special arrangements are made in advance.

Order Completion: We will make every attempt to complete all orders received before October 31, 2025.

Final Operating Day: October 31, 2025

• Plating Cadmium, Copper, Electroless nickel, Nickel, Silver, Tin, Zinc; Passivation; Chemical Conversion coating of aluminum; and Anodizing

Supplier Transition Assistance

We understand that finding a new plating supplier is a critical concern. To assist you during this transition, we have prepared a spreadsheet of local and regional plating companies that offer the various finishes you may require. This spreadsheet includes company contact information, the specific finishes each company provides, and Nadcap accreditation status, where applicable.

The supplier reference spreadsheet will be made available to any customer who requests it. Contact us using the information provided below.

 

 

Work Records and Documentation

Customers who wish to obtain records related to their work performed since 2018 should contact us to make arrangements. All requests for work records must be submitted no later than October 13, 2025.
